Fees
We at Life’s InnaSolutions have the belief that everyone should be able to access counselling.
These fees can be negotiated in extreme circumstances such as severe financial hardship.
Please note that the below fees are for the counselling appointments only.
A fee for other services (such as reports) attract additional fees.
AAPi's and APS recommended fee for a Psychologist (50-60 minute consultation) is approximately $300.00.
At Life's InnaSolutions our Fees are :
Psychological / Counselling Appointment In-Person: $195.00 (50-60 minute session)
(*Eligible for Medicare Rebate - $96.65, out-of-pocket cost of $98.35)
Telehealth (phone/zoom): $140.00 (50-60 minutes session)
(*Eligible for Medicare Rebate - $96.65, out-of Pocket cost of $43.35)
Couples and Family Counselling: $200.00 per hour (not eligible for Medicare rebate)
Counselling Supervision (Practitioner): $195.00 per hour
Psychological Reports/Letters: Prices on Request
Bulk-billing can be negotiated under severe financial hardship.
*You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate if you are referred by your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan or an Eating Disorder Treatment Plan.
These plans MUST also be accompanied with a valid referral letter from your GP.
Confidentiality
Your personal information is gathered as part of your assessment and treatment and is kept securely. In the interests of your privacy, only your treating Psychologist can access this information.
All personal information gathered during the provision of the psychological service will remain confidential and secure with the exception of the following:
1. If we believe that you are at risk of harm to self or others;
2. If your information is subpoenaed by a court;
3. You have provided written and prior consent to release your information; and
4. If the disclosure of information is otherwise required by the law.
Cancellation Policy
When appointments are booked, the psychologist reserves the whole hour for you.
Therefore, the following cancellation policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another
person who may be on a waiting list for that appointment.
We require 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment without incurring any cancellation fees.
A $50.00 fee will be charged for cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice.
A $100 fee will be charged for cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice.
The FULL AGREED FEE will be charged for an appointment that has been missed with no notice (non-attendance).
We understand that sometimes you may be unable to keep an appointment because of sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. If this happens to you, please contact us as soon as possible to explain the situation. You may call our office at any time, even after hours, as we do have an answering service that allows you to leave a message
